Here he comes, here he comes, Jesus Christ, he's the one;
Shout and wave, lord and slave, Jesus Christ comes to save!

He can make the blind man see,
He can set the prisoner free,
He can cure the leprosy,
So what can he do for me?
Will he take away my fear?
Make my troubles disappear?
Will he help with my career?
What a Saviour! Here he comes ………

He has come to bring salvation
To this and every nation;
It's a major operation,
How he'll do it, Heaven knows!
He can raise men from the dead,
Feed a crowd on fish and bread,

Will he save us from aggression,
From political oppression,
Or from our own indiscretion?
Just what does salvation mean?

Or does he want something from me?
